According to E! News, the former American Idol contestant from Season 3 will be one of the new judges for the Fox show.
The last original judge, Randy Jackson confirmed that he was leaving after season 12. Keith Urban has reportedly signed on to return for season 13, but said, “I don’t know if I’m returning to Idol.”
Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey’s on-air “beef” might have been the wedge to have driven them out the Idol door as both of their seats are up in the air.
As reported, this season had the lowest ratings of all of the seasons. Fox has yet to issue a statement regarding J-Hud’s possible return to the show but Jennifer Hudson be the bump in the ratings that the show needs.
